Research shows exercise can improve symptoms, enhance quality of life, and may help slow progression when performed regularly and at sufficient intensity.
Current guidelines recommend at least 2.5 hours of exercise per week, including moderate to vigorous intensity, with support from a physiotherapist where possible. Reaching this level can feel daunting, especially with fatigue, symptom fluctuation and low confidence.
