Face-to-Face vs. Online MOT: What’s the Difference?

At Neuro Heroes, we offer two unique ways to support your movement and wellbeing—each tailored to different needs. Both are led by neuro physiotherapists but they differ in how, and where, we work together.

1:1 Face-to-Face Neuro Physio (At Home)

Personal, hands-on support in the comfort of your own home. This is ideal if you need a more physical, hands-on approach or want support with daily tasks in your own space.

  • Comprehensive physical assessment of movement, strength, tone, sensory symptoms, range, coordination and proprioception

  • Gait and balance analysis tailored to your daily movements

  • Practical help with real-life challenges like stairs, getting in and out of bed, or managing mobility at home

  • Hands-on treatment techniques and movement strategies developed together with you—and your care partner if helpful

  • A bespoke rehab and exercise action plan designed to support your goals and complement your online classes

Neuro Heroes deliver face to face sessions in the following areas:

  • South West London

  • South East London

  • East London

  • Rugby, Warwickshire

  • Sussex

Parkinson’s or MS Online MOT

A complete, virtual check-up to understand how you move, feel, and stay active. This is a great option if you want expert guidance without leaving home, or you're looking to better understand your symptoms and how to manage them day to day.

  • One-to-one video session with a specialist neuro-physio who sees Parkinson’s or MS on a daily basis

  • We guide you through simple movement tests (standing, walking, balance, hand movements as suitable for you) via camera to analyse posture, flexibility, strength, and coordination

  • Instant feedback on what’s working and where things could feel easier

  • Bring your biggest challenges—freezing, tremor, stiffness, fatigue, pain—we’ll troubleshoot in real time and suggest strategies and adjustments

  • Clear signposting to other services if needed (e.g. specialist nurse for medication, OT for equipment, podiatry, musculoskeletal support)

  • A bespoke rehab and exercise action plan designed to be achievable, enjoyable and sustainable - and to support your goals and complement your online classes

  • A written MOT report with practical tips, goal tracking, and next steps—ideal for sharing with family, care partners or other health professionals

No matter which you choose, we’re here to support your journey—at home, online, and always with you.
